Vice Minister tran Tuan Anh said that at present, Vietnam's trade relations with Denmark are in surplus. In 2010, Vietnam's exports to Denmark reached 195 million US dollars, mainly textiles and clothing products, shoes and consumer goods. Vietnam imports $116 million from Denmark. In the first two months of 2011, Vietnam's exports to Denmark increased by 59.5% year on year.

At present, the textile and clothing industry is playing an important role in Vietnam Denmark economic cooperation. In 2010 alone, Vietnam's textile and clothing exports to Denmark reached 64.8 million US dollars, accounting for 33.2% of Vietnam's total exports to Denmark, an increase of 60.5% compared with 2009.

Vice Minister tran Tuan Anh also said that the Vietnamese government has always been concerned about and supports enterprises that comply with WTO commitments. At the same time, he expressed the hope that Danish enterprises would participate in textile and garment investment projects, create favorable conditions and improve the quality of Vietnamese exports to Denmark.
